The Chain of Karma

I have been ruminating lately on the chain (web) of inherited karma.
My premise is that, along with our physio-genetic heritage, we also inherit unresolved karma from our chain of ancestry.
All the unresolved victimization, all the unresolved guilt and shame and regret, etc...
I propose that; as we incarnate - when the first spark of our being is swimming around in the envelope created by the energy of the orgasm(s) that sent our gametes together, when our soul first inhabited our flesh, that karma was imprinted on us, and we have carried it since, perhaps even passed it on down through the chain into our children.
Many of us saw some of it play out in our parents relationship to each other, and in their relationship with us.
So here's where I extend the premise into the land of What if:
What if each of us, as time goes on, inherits an ever heavier load ?
Wouldn't that explain the aggregate condition of more and more parents needing to steal/hoist energy from their children? The need for affirmation ? The ever increasing velocity of the takeover of the human spirit by the Ego, trying to feed energy into a human vessel that is bleeding into the past?
Of course, not all folks have this...we are speaking in terms of the aggregate.
As an intuitive bodyworker, I feel this inherited stuff manifested in the tissue on a daily basis, and my upstream swim is to release it, or at least give each person I lay hands on a respite from it.
So, the task at hand is how to separate our own stuff from the inherited stuff.
To be able to have enough clarity to see what is ours, and not be "owned" by what is not.
Or, at least, to be able to detach enough from the inherited karma that we can objectify it and work on it from the outside in, instead of trying to drain the swamp while fighting off the alligators.
I will add this. I had a strong intuition when this insight occurred to me that we have tools to help us separate out our own life's karma from what we have inherited...to get some clarity.
I propose that disciplines that combine physical and spiritual into a seamless practice, such as Yoga and Tai Chi, are particularly effective in helping gain the above mentioned clarity.
Finally, one might expect that if it is true that the combination of an ever increasing karmic load, and the great unraveling of our societal (planetary) order coincide, and that they are cyclical over a great long while, then what happens at the end of the cycle?
I will journey down that road in my next post.
